Prof. Song has presided two projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one projects supported by the Program for Education combined with production and research of Guangdong province and Education Department of Chinese government. Moreover he has participated in some research projects supported by the National Basic Research Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science & Technology Pillar Program in the Eleventh Five-year Plan Period and the National Science & Technology Pillar Program in the Twelfth Five-year Plan Period.
