Overview
 
The State Key Laboratory of Fire Science (SKLFS) was set up in 1990 and is the only national research institution in the field of fire science in China. SKLFS conducts frontier interdisciplinary researches that combine state-of-the-art knowledge and approaches of different disciplines to explore fire dynamics and develop advanced fire safety technologies. SKLFS also provides a world renowned resource for training fire researchers.
