He has authored over 90 research papers (SCI/EI) as the first author or corresponding author in Advanced Functional Materials, Chemistry of Materials, Composite Science and Technology, etc (h-index 35). He published 1 English Chapter and 8 Patents. In 2018, Prof. Xuan was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Excellent Youth.
