Achievements

Up to now, Dr. Zhang has presided over one project supported by the National Basic Research Program of China (also known as the “973” Program), three projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Moreover, Prof. Zhang has participated in many research projects supported by the State Key Program of National Natural Science of China in his capacity as a key researcher. Dr. Zhang has also supervised/co-supervised about 5 PhD students and master students, many of whom have become faculties in other universities or continue their studies on abroad. Additionally, Dr. Zhang has co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal papers (H-index 29 based on the statistics of Web of Science), about half of which were published on the two pretigious combustion journals (Combustion and Flame and Proceedings of the Combustion Institute).
