| Achievements |
| Prof. Peng Tan is mainly engaged in the research on the frontiers of multi-field coupled energy-mass transport in electrochemical energy systems, and has been selected for the youth projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (2018), Anhui Province (2019), and National (2020) Talent Program. In recent years, he has presided over a number of national key research and development programs such as the Energy Storage and Smart Grid Technology key special project for young scientists, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, the Natural Science Foundation of Anhui Province, and enterprise technology development projects. He has published more than 140 SCI papers in PNAS, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Energy Materials and other international academic journals, with more than 5,800 citations and H-index of 42, and has been selected as one of the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University for four consecutive years; he has been authorized more than 10 invention patents in China.
