Prof. Ji has presided the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and three other projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, several projects supported by the National Key Research and Development Plan and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities, etc. Prof. Ji has totally published more than 140 SCI papers being as the first or corresponding author in international journals, such as Combustion and Flame, Proceedings of the Combustion Institute, Fire Safety Journal, Fire Technology, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Energy, Fuel, etc., and authored three books. Prof. Ji has presented 16 invited lectures in international and domestic meetings conferences, such as the 59th Symposium (Japanese) on Combustion, 11th Asia-Oceania Symposium on Fire Science and Technology, 4th Workshop and Symposium on Safety and Integrity Management of Operations in Harsh Environments, 9th International Conference on Fire Science and Fire Protection Engineering, etc. Research findings were implemented in fire protection standards at home and abroad, and in several major construction projects in China.
