| Achievements |
| In recent years, Dr. Qiang Wang has presided over several competitive research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, including the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas), a General Program, and a Young Scientists Fund, focusing on fire dynamics under special environmental conditions. He has conducted systematic experimental and theoretical studies on nonpremixed jet flames subjected to microgravity, low-pressure, strong wind, and confined boundary conditions, as well as fire behavior and safety control of emerging energy fuels such as hydrogen and ammonia. Dr. Wang has published a series of high-impact research papers in leading international journals in the field of combustion and fire science, including Proceedings of the Combustion Institute, Combustion and Flame, Applied Energy, and Fire Safety Journal. His representative works have addressed fundamental issues such as flame lift-off and blowout limits, flame scaling laws, and instability mechanisms under complex boundary conditions, and have attracted sustained attention from the international combustion and fire research community. In recognition of his academic contributions and international research performance, Dr. Wang has been selected for the Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Youth Talent Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has also been awarded the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship and JSPS Invitational Fellowship, reflecting his sustained research excellence and international influence in fire science and combustion research.
