Abstract: In this paper, the power spectral density of three fire detection signals is analyzed using spectral estimation by autoregressive covariance method. An algorithm based on cross power spectral density (CPSD) for multi-channel fire detection signals is presented. Experiments show that this algorithm is suited for both smoldering fire and open fire, except for TF5. CPSD algorithm can use information of several signals to judge fire, whose false alarm resistance is well.
