Dr. Hou has been awarded a research grant supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences and started his career in USTC since 2024. He has been focusing on flame-retardant polymer composites and additive manufacturing over the past years, including efficient flame retardants (MOFs, 2D nanomaterials, and 1D nanotubes), advanced manufacturing techniques (MJF, DLP, SLA, DIW), stimulation (heat, light, strain) response materials, etc. Dr. Hou has co-authored over 50 journal papers (including 30 papers as the first/corresponding author) and been invited to report his research in ICMAT, SRIS, and several other international conferences.
