Abstract: To analyze the ignition of the leaked fuel on a heated surface, a model to describe the boiling evaporation of the fuel pool is given. Some equations to calculate the boiling heat transfer parameter of a leaked fuel on a heated surface has been changed. The fuels including a diesel related fuel are calculated according to new equations. The results are same as old ones, but,the equations are more meaningful. Also a model to describe the mass transfer rate during spreading process of leaked fuel was developed.
