| Achievements |
| Dr. Qin’s long-term career goal is to reveal the characterisitc and mechanism of battery failure, further to address the safety issue of battery system. Dr. Qin hold a rich experience of experimental and simulation skills, having developing various methods to analyze the failure characteristic and mechanism of lithium-ion battery. A variety of novel methods were invented to clarify the whole process (Journal of Power Sources 542:231731) of battery thermal runaway heat and gas generation ranging from the early stage( Journal of Power Sources 486:229357; Journal of Energy Storage 50:104302) to the un-stopptable stage(Applied Energy 313:118767; Applied Energy 325:119778; Journal of Energy Storage 61(4):106791).
